One Ticket to Freedom
Summary:
In One Ticket to Freedom, the world is split into two nations: Tenebris, an oppressed society where only classes matter and everything is controlled by the government and Aethel, a free and democratic society. Hermes works at the ticket office at Tenebris Train Station. Every day he grants passage to those who can pay… and some who can’t. Risking everything, including his own life, Hermes grants some spare tickets every week to those needing to escape. But one wrong move could mean the end so Hermes must learn to read through people’s words.
How to play:
- The train to Aethel departs once a week;
- You go to the Train Station 3 days a week;
- Each week you are granted a certain amount of seats you can grant to people who come ask you for help;
- You can ask some questions to each person who comes asking you for help. However, some people may not be completely honest
- The longer you speak with a character, the more suspicion you raise on yourself;
- If your suspicion gets to 100%, you get caught by the authorities;
- After speaking with each character, you must decide whether you want to accept them and grant them a ticket or reject them and send them away;
- Once all the tickets are granted, you can no longer accept the people who show up next;
- Throughout the week, random events take place which might affect factors such as your suspicion or the number of available tickets. Each day may bring a surprise;
- Once the train departs at the end of the week, you can check the newspaper and search for clues about what happened to both the people you rejected and accepted.
